Sentimental Judges

Last week judges in Iowa legalized homosexual marriage. This continues a trend whereby every time citizens get a vote they say no and every time judges have a say they vote yes. Of course judges are supposed to interpret the law and not be swayed by popular sentiment. But it appears that since gay marriage has never been a part of civilized society until the last 10 years that it is the judges and not the people who are getting carried away by sentimentality.
