Obama's Spending Addiction
Barack Obama's budget plans would double the national debt in five years, triple it in 10. The president's defense: Bush started it. Whatever happened to, "The buck stops here"?
Obama's antidote to overspending is more overspending, kind of like trying to cure a heroin addiction with a cocaine addiction. He is fulfilling every stereotype of Democrats as irresponsible, big-spending liberals who care more about growing the government than growing the economy.
Memo to the president (and to borrow a phrase): "Don't think we're not keeping score, brother."
