Great Figures
The death of Karol Wojtyla of Krakow reminds us that man is not at the mercy of blind historical forces. Great figures affect history. With Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher, John Paul II played a pivotal role in defeating the Soviet Union. Lovers of freedom everywhere mourn the passing of this great man.

How can you write an article that speaks favorably of the Pope? Number one, he is(or was)the leader of the greatest "cult" this world has ever known!! He has literally led "billions" of souls in deception. Do you even know what being a Protestant is? We protest the catholic deception....and still do!! He was a political figure if anything, but was not a Holy man at all. There is only one Holy...our Father in heaven...Many people call the Pope "The Holy Father". This pure blasphamy. He did not go to the Father...he went somewhere else....much hotter.
For a more irenic perspective on the pope from an evangelical perspective, see http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2005/114/21.0.html.
