Religion of Peace

The terror attack on Fort Hood by a Muslim extremist was characterized as a "tragedy" by our president, who urged us not to jump to conclusions. While we wait for Mr. Obama to figure this out, I have one question: Just how aggressive will this administration be in interrogating the perp, if the guy lives? Waterboarding, anyone? Okay, three questions: Just how much of a role did political correctness have in putting this man in position to commit this act of terror?

Stan--Come on, man. You're jumping to way too many conclusions here. You've tagged the perpetrator an extremist, when there's simply no evidence to support that notion. And your question is pre-loaded with an answer that does little, if nothing, to help us figure out what happened. Maybe the guy just snapped. It happens--just ask the Oklahoma City bomber.

Terry Randall has openly advocated the murder of abortion doctors, applauded the bombing of clinics--I don't see you trashing all of Christian fundamentalism because of it. You ask, rightly, for understanding because Terry is not all of right-wing Christianity.

Stan, you're better than this.

Marty,

I didn't say he was "a Muslim." I said he was a "Muslim extremist." The headlines are bearing this out. Come on, you're better than this? My questions stand.

Stan
