The Godfather's Soul

James Brown, anointed "the godfather of soul," died on Christmas Day. Commentators have been waxing eloquent how Brown, who had an ugly drug conviction near the end of his life, "changed music forever." One of Brown's signature songs was "I Feel Good." Having entered eternity, I hope he does.
