Free Speech vs. Sedition
With Islamist terror attacks becoming a near daily occurrence in Britain, authorities there need to do some hard thinking ... and fast. For too long, they have turned a blind eye to extremist clerics and their brainwashed followers advocating and plotting mayhem. While we all in the West take pride in our open societies, the free and easy pre-9/11 days are gone, perhaps forever. We must learn to distinguish between free speech and sedition.

Two attacks in two weeks = "a near daily occurrence"?? Isn't that over-stating it a bit?
Not really, Kevin. Yesterday an apparent intended bomber was shot dead, and there is more news out of London today. This is becoming daily news in London, hard as it is to believe.
I'm still taking issue with your language. Three or even four attacks in 13 days is not a daily occurrence. It's certainly a frequent occurrence and just cause for vigilance and more. But "a near daily occurrence"? Every other day might qualify for that, but not the recent spat. If there was something today you might be able to claim daily occurence (three days in a row), but I haven't heard anything new since they shot someone yesterday.
Hey, man, it's hyperbole, OK? We had three consecutive days of headlines over very serious incidents related to London's transit system. If you want to take every word I said literally, I guess I have to plead guilty to overstatement. But I think my point remains, don't you. The UK needs to do something about the cancer in its midst.
